Master waits for the right moment

There was once a Zen Master, and He had a young disciple- a small boy- may be eight or 10 years old. And this boy was very naughty- like all young boys- but he was also a disciple. He used to imitate the Master. While speaking, the Master used to point His finger towards the sky.

Every day, before the Master arrived, this boy would imitate the Master, making the gesture with his finger. It was his daily routine. He would keep entertaining the other disciples, who enjoyed the show. The Master knew all of this, but He Kept quiet.

But one day, the Master brought a knife with him. He came very silently, nobody noticed. He came from behind. And as the boy was imitating the Master, the Master crept up from behind and suddenly cut off the boy’s finger! And the story says, at that very moment, the boy, the small boy, became enlightened!

Only Love can dare to do this. And it waits for the right moment. It is not done through the intellect, it is not that one pre-decides or plans! No, not at all. It is a pure happening. At the right moment, it happens!
